Licensing / Registration
Registration with the State Treasurer required for anyone recovering property for compensation (Mo. Rev. Stat. §447.581).
Fee Cap
Graduated caps: agreements within 12 months of delivery are unenforceable; 10% cap at 12–24 months; 15% at 24–36 months; 20% after 36 months (§447.581).
Waiting Period
No compensation agreements are enforceable in the first 12 months after delivery to the Treasurer (§447.581).
